As a parent we worry about so many different things when it comes to our children. Something we might not consider until it happens is how to deal with nappy rash. It's at this point we frantically turn to the internet, the chemist or the advice of others for a cure. Desperately wanting to treat it and stop our little one feeling any discomfort. A newborns skin is very sensitive, it's up to 40% thinner and softer than that of adults which makes their skin more susceptible to irritation. Nappy rash affects 1 in 3 babies at some point making. During the first 12 months nappy rash is especially common as stools are more frequent. It can cause lots of discomfort and distress to baby. As parents it's really upsetting for us too, to see and know our baby is uncomfortable and sore.

Bepanthen is clinically proven to protect against the causes of nappy rash. It forms a transparent, breathable layer on the skin protecting it against irritants and rubbing.

How do you use Bepanthen Nappy Care Cream?

You apply a thin layer onto baby's clean, dry bottom after each nappy change. It is not sticky and doesn't need to be removed at the next nappy change. The cream itself is a great consistency and a little goes a long way.

In the middle of a nappy change as we're holding clothes and little feet out of the way a big plus for me was that the bottle has a flip lid as apposed to a screw lid. This meant that I was able to open it with one hand while I held the little one with my other. Anything to make life easier right?

It comes in a handy little tube that I would keep on me at all times in the changing bag and I always had a tube of it waiting for me in the bathroom to use if I was to do a nappy change upstairs at home. It's handy and takes just a few short seconds to apply. I am incredibly thankful for his product as it has kept my children's skin happy.

What also ticked big boxes for me was that there is no fragrance with this cream, no colour or preservatives and no antiseptics. It contains Pro-vitamin B5 to help skin repair it's natural protective barrier.
