Harry Potter Cake

Harry Potter Cake

If you follow us on Instagram (and if you don't - why not HA) - you will know that we are BIG Harry Potter fans. We haven't got round to visiting Harry Potter World as of yet but I know so many people who have been and have said how amazing it is! Have you been?

I guess me and James have been late on the hype with this one. It wasn't till around 7 months ago that we watched the first one - The Philosophers Stone. Neve is a real keen film watcher. Her film knowledge is pretty impressive for a 6 year old! She is also hooked on Harry Potter and tried to talk me into buying a £35 wand in the toy shop the other day. I managed to talk her into have a 99p kite and a pack of Kinetic Sand instead. Anyhow - Harry Potter...

My lovely friend had the most wonderful Peter Rabbit cake made for her sons birthday a few months back and as soon as I saw it I had to get in touch with the lovely cake maker - Laurissa at Nauty Little Treats

Browsing her gallery on Instagram blew me away! What a talent she has. Every cake is perfection. The figures she is able to create are just like the real thing. I would love to have a talent like that! It must be so rewarding!

Laurissa is an absolute star. She can't do enough and is so helpful and kind. We spoke about a few things I would like on the cake for Neves Birthday and I knew that I was leaving it in her capable hands to design it all. I couldn't wait to see it! Before I knew the day arrived and off we went to go and collect. My jaw hit the floor when I saw it. Once again she has delivered and created the most wonderful cake!

I have been so excited to share this with you:

The cake was simply a work of art. It broke my heart a little to remove the items and cut it up but the taste was also incredibly pleasing. I am over the moon with what Laurissa at Nauty Little Treats did.

Harry Potter Cake

Do you know any Harry Potter fans that would love this cake? Why not share it with them?

A short and sweet one from me this evening, but I will be back again very soon.

Once again I want to thank Nauty Little Treats for a fantastic Birthday Cake - we shall be back :)
