There is only one thing that I love more than crafting and that is Christmas crafting! There is so much inspiration out there meaning you can craft to your hearts content. Twinkly lights, sparkly tinsel and mince pies. The festive period is such fun! Today I want to share with you a super cute Reindeer Hand Print Canvas. Simple to create and it makes such a fabulous keepsake/gift.

One of Neves favourite things to do is paint her hands. She chuckles to herself profusely as the cool wet paint is spread across her palm and the brush tickles her hands.
I will pop all the details of the paint you will need to use to paint on canvas' at the bottom of the post (so keep scrolling to find out all you will need).
You may need to guide the hand to be printed in the centre of the canvas. Neve was able to do this on her own.
Make sure you gently push down along each finger and over the palm of the hand, to ensure you have a full print created on your canvas before pulling it off carefully.
Instead of lifting the hand all at once, Neve lifted her palm up first and her fingers followed. She secured the canvas in place by holding it down with her other hand.
Instead of using paint pots, I tend to just grab a little something from the recycling to pop a bit of paint on as above. It means when we have finished crafting, I can throw it away.
Neve picked out 5 colours that she wanted as her lights and used her finger prints to print them around the edges of her canvas.
You may want to wait till all the paint has dried before moving on to the next stage or taking care you can look at proceeding, adding the features - but do take care to not touch any wet paint.
Lets take a look at this crafts in action:
We used large googly eyes, a super shiny sticker for his nose and a pencil to connect the lights together. This gives you the opportunity to make any alternations before using a permanent marker to go over the lines once you are happy with them.
You will need:
Googly Eyes
Red Sticker/Button for his nose (you could also use a red finger print)
Paint Brush
Canvas
Pencil
