With my daughter spending most of her free time creating and making cards to give to her friends or relatives - we brought some of her recent art together to create this Blowing a Kiss Hand Print Card. Great for Valentines, Birthdays, Mothers Day, Fathers Day - in fact, it's great for any occasion or simply just because.
If you follow us over on Instagram you will know we are always out and about, doing something together as a family. If we're not out and about we are crafting and getting messy.
Have you seen the I love you to pieces Sun Catcher Card we shared last year? It has been super popular and is so cute!

This was a card we created for The Red Ted Art Love Series last year so do pop on over to check out what you need to make this card.
Hand Painting is pretty much the done thing in this house once the paint comes out. We always have dried art work lying around and it really is great to use creating and making other things with. For example - we used paintings to create Chinese Lanterns.
Do your children like painting with their hands? If not they could always look at creating art work using Zip Lock Bags. As I mentioned my children are pretty keen to get messy but I have using this technique with them many times and they love it.
It's always good to offer a variety of ways to make and create and of course take into consideration any likes or dislikes.

A quick snip with the guillotine and we created the back drop for this card. Using red card we outlined Neves work and hand prints.
We were also able to use one of her recent drawings as art of the card. The hand flaps down and has hidden behind it -
..... a super cute picture and the words - Blowing you lots of kisses.
Really easy and simple to create, yet really effective. Nanny and Grandad were over the moon to received it! It was also great to reuse some of her art work! I know you can't keep it all - but I really do hate throwing any of it away!
What have you been making and creating for Valentines Day?
