He's making a list, checking it twice - today's craft is a lovely Santa Wood Slice.
It's not long now guys till the big day! We are loving the wood slice ornaments and today I am sharing with you such a charming Santa themed craft!
How is your Christmas shopping coming along? This is probably the most unorganised and laid back I've been with regards to Christmas shopping! The thought of hitting the shops with 2 17 month old boys full of energy is simply a no go. So what I get done, I get done and what I don't I don't.
Anyway back to today's craft.

Wood Slices
Gold Glitter Craft Foam
Scissors
Glue
Red, White and Flesh Tone Paint
Paint Brushes
Mini Santa Hats
Cord/ Ribbon/ Twine
You will need two wood slices per Santa craft. One needs to be painted red and the other flesh tones. You may find you will need to do a couple of coats of paint on the wood. The initial coats may be absorbed slightly. Allow enough time for paint to dry before applying more coats. Make sure surfaces are protected in case there are any spillages.
Paint a black belt across the red painted wood slice.
Paint a beard and hair onto the flesh tones wood slices. Allow time for the paint to completely dry before using your paint markers to add the eyes. Use your white marker to add a moustache and eyebrows. Use red or pink paint for the mouth and the light pink paint pen to add rosy cheeks. Add white dots to the eyes to add a sparkle.
Once all your paint is dry - attach the Santa hats with glue and add your string/ twine/ ribbon.
How super cute are they?!
Cut out a gold square using the gold glitter craft foam. Cut a smaller square out the middle to create the buckle for Santas belt. Stick it in the centre and attach the head to the body.
Add a loop of string/ twine/ ribbon to hand up on the Christmas Tree.
