We enjoyed some Spin Art Painting last year and seeing as its been a good while since we had fun with this painting technique - I thought it was time to get the salad spinner out again and have some colourful fun!!
We had a brand new arrival on the morning of arty joy and me and my Preschooler couldn't wait to try out our new paints!!
I have used so many different brands of paint over the years both at work and home, so I was excited when I came across a totally new brand - Little Brian Art!

Paint - Little Brian Art - Highly Recommended (click the link for more info)
Salad Spinner (I brought mine for around £5 from Ikea)
Paper cut out to fit the base of your Spinner.
Place a sheet of paper into the base of your salad spinner and drop in your paint. Experiment with different ways of blobbing your paint around - I love that every effect comes out completely different and beautiful!
Little Brian Art paint that we used was particularly great for this art technique. The colours were so vibrant and the paint was at the perfect consistency to get a really great effect going. I found that this paint dried pretty quickly too which was great as we were able to move on to our next stage....
.......turning the Spin Art into beautiful butterflies.
I then cut them out to create these super colourful butterflies......
They look really great and I love how versitile this painting activity is. You can literally create ANYTHING!
One word of warning though......
Spin Art is very addictive!
Make sure you are prepared with LOTS of paper cut out ready because I guarantee you will run out of paper before you are fed up!
I am loving all the colours this post has brought - I hope you have enjoyed them too!!
