Frozen Cardboard Sleigh Craft

I have a super crazy 2 year old Frozen fan living with me! Every few seconds she is bursting into "Let it go" at the tops of her lungs. Squealing about Frozen Fractals and Glowing Snow - my ears ache but I still find it hilarious!!
I recently made an order with Amazon and the box they sent my stuff in was put upstairs as I thought about what I could create with it. One sunny, Summers day while Little N had popped to Nanny and Grandads house I whipped out the paint, scissors and tape and set about make my own cardboard version of Kristoffs sleigh.
It was really simple. I made a couple of small adjustments to the top of the box to form the shape of a sleigh. I painted it all blue and then added some pattern.
I set it up in the garden once she was on her way home.
Out came her Frozen teddies and I added a lantern on a pole. I thought this feature would be a hit and I wasn't wrong!
When she returned home I told her how I had been sitting in the kitchen and I had heard a knocking at the back gate.
She sat listening attentively on my lap....
I told her how I had heard somebody saying "Is Little N there we have come to play", but I said I didn't know who it was?!
She went running to the patio doors and out into the garden! Her face was an absolute picture!!
She ran out so excited and knew what it was straight away which was great!
I never thought I would see the day that she would give up being Elsa but today was the day! "I will be Kristoff and you can be Anna ok Mom?" she said.
At that, off we went to play.
She made a b-line for the lantern and sat in the sleigh looking out for the wolves. She picked up Sven and started shouting "Oh no, quick they're coming!"
Her cousin (who is also a Frozen Fan) dropped by to visit while we were out playing and she too loved the sleigh. They both enjoyed sitting in a pretending to steer!
Here is a photo of the complete creation:
Little N even used it as a hiding spot during a game of hide and seek!
We have had lots of Frozen fun over the last couple of months:
A real life icy FROZEN inspired small world
FROZEN inspired small world show box
FROZEN inspired Sensory Bag

I wonder what our next Frozen activity or craft will be.
