I love "We're going on a bear hunt".
ReplyDeleteI have 4 kids between ages 3-7 and we go to the library every week. We normally have at least 40 books or more checked out at any given time. My kids love to read and we read together as a family everyday! My kids love "Peanut Butter and Cupcake".
ReplyDeleteSo many books, just a couple to add that were not on the list but I found my children really liked were Edward the Emu, Magic Hat, Snuggle up, Charlie and Lola, Wombles but as I mentioned the lists are endless...
ReplyDeleteI would like to Monkey Puzzle to this list. My daughter absolutely loves that book! 😊

ReplyDeleteHaha just had a look. My little girl is 2 1/2 and knows about 8 of those already...love the large family books and Julia Donaldson...have you ready taranosaurus drip yet? She loves that
ReplyDeleteWe have read 2-3 books every night since O was about 18 months old. A year later he was able to recognise so many words and began reading quite complex words and sentences very early on. As such, we've ended up with a vast library of books for him and I don't know how I would even begin to list a top 25 for him... He is 4.5 and enjoys some of the books on your list, but we haven't read all of them. Some of his favourites you haven't got include Dr Seuss books, The Lion Inside, Here in Space, How Big is a Blue Whale?, and On The Way Home.
