Well Christmas is fast approaching and some of you maybe thinking of gift ideas for your closest and dearest friends and family members.
Today I am going to share with you a lovely gift idea that will be treasured all year round.
A Home Made Calendar.
We made them last year and intend on making them again this year too.
Little N did some lovely finger painting and I used the prints to make the calendars.
Hasn't got to be anything fancy, as you can see - something as simple as free painting can look rather effective.
I purchased the '2014' numbers from a craft seller on EBay.
I stuck them on using foam sticky pads which made them stand out - you get purchase these from near enough anywhere supermarkets, craft shops.
I printed off the most recent picture of Little N, and purchased the calendars from 'The Works' for around 20p each.
I included a little message which read:
Wishing you all the very best for 2014, may you get:
12 Months of Happiness…
52 weeks of Fun…
365 Days of Success…
365 Days of Success…
8760 hours of Good Health…
525600 Minutes of Good Luck…
525600 Minutes of Good Luck…
& 31536000 seconds Joy, Love and Peace
Before sticking down the calendar and numbers - I laminated the paper, this made it more sturdy and durable.
So there you have it, the Perfect Gift for your dearest family and friends.
A lovely little keep sake, doesn't cost the earth and straight-forward to put together.
